Qwartz International New Music Market is a unique opportunity to discover the independent artistic creation. It holds more than 60 stands. Labels, festivals, artist collectives, and institutions coming from all over the world present their limited- or rare-editions and innovative projects – CDs, vinyls, books, revues, posters, prints

Visitors are welcome to come around and attend the conferences, listening-sessions, keynotes, lives, projections, and performances scheduled during both days.

Around the former stock exchange (April 2nd and 3rd): Sound Delta – Sound Walk with headphones
Sound Delta explores a new form of sound composition in the space. Every partipant’s move is located in real time. The participant moves into the space from a sound source to another, discovering a real soundscape. Sound and space merge into a poetic augmented-reality.

Saturday April 3rd, 2010: a totally new experience: Black Mass Rising Opening
Qwartz has invited Colin Johnco to an original experience with 16 other artists to perform behind the window of Espace Cinko gallery. The sound of their music is broadcasted in live from the basement throughout the 190-meters-long passage. This labyrinthine and abstract performance happens from 2pm to 5pm.
